Things to know before you go on a musk ox trip
You need your own car to get to the meeting point.
The trip is between 10-15 km and lasts 4-6 hours, depending on the location of the animals.
The trip is all by foot and is in the highlands, mostly on paths in a pleassant pace.
We eat lunch during the trip, bring a lunch box and plenty to drink.
The weather changes fast in the highlands. Even on a warm summer day, you should have wind and waterproof clothing. A warm sweater should be in your backpack and also a beanie and gloves.
Appropriate shoes to walk in the highlands is essential.
Binoculars and a camera will make the experience even better.
